Could this be one of the best cars never made? I have written on the subject of unusual and very unusual here before.
But this one really captures the imagination. This concept car designed and built (in all too low quantities) by Australia’s Holden Motor Company is incredibly beautiful. The lines, the way you get in, the wheel arches (and the LACK of wheel arches at the back).
The whole thing just screams 70’s, but in a very now way.
But its not just about the looks. This concept car boasted a digital instrumentation panel, station seeking radio, climate control, a rear camera and even a sat-nav!
and check out the interior with all that wiz-bang gadgetary! Awesome.
It does of course look best on the road:
Finally, a wonderfully camp 70s demonstration video
More pictures here, and some detailed information about the car and its restoration over the past 5 years here.
I’m going to say something I have never said about a Holden before: I WANT ONE. Do you? Let me know.
