I’m not really sure about some of these, you sort of want an airline to take this stuff very, very seriously. But then, when was the last time you actually listened to one of these?
Perhaps doing announcements in a slightly more interesting way is actually the way forward.
1. Southwestern Rap (Pretty good)
First up is the rapping Southwestern steward, who does the entire safety announcement as a rap. Nice.
.
Or this girl who sings the whole thing. Also a nice touch.
.
2. Air New Zealand (Very good)
Why not turn the whole safety thing into a 70’s disco fitness instruction video. No reason. Now STRETCH and put those bags in the overhead safety locker (ps this is serious, they use this on their flights)
.
3. QANTAS (Awful)
What were they thinking. I mean, so he can fly a plane, but this is just plane (I mean plain) embarrassing for everyone involved (by the way, youtube is not allowed to actually post this video, so its kinda on in the background of some other strange news service, but you can get the gist)
