Today we woke up to the news that Steve Jobs has died.
Since hearing the news, I have been fascinated reading the tributes that have come to this one man from so many different people and places.
From politicians to entrepreneurs, it seems this man changed people’s lives in so many more ways than just the devices he put in our hands.
One of my favourites: “3 apples changed the world: Adam and Eve’s forbidden apple, Newton´s apple and finally, Steve Jobs´s Apple.”
If you want to see just how great Steve Jobs genius and thinking was, you need look no further than the graduation address he gave at Stanford in 2005. On a sunny day, when probably no one in the stadium was expecting it, he took 15 minutes to deliver his manifesto on life, death and everything in between.
I cannot think of a better way to spend 15 minutes today than to watch this (or watch it again).
