Although it has been proved otherwise (see here, for previous post about the world’s most useless machine), in theory every invention should be fixing some kind of problem.
Well the problem that this invention apparently addresses is (according to the company’s website) as follows: “Every pilot faces uncertain weather, rising costs, and ground transportation hassles on each end of the flight.”
I’m not a pilot, so I can’t vouch for this, but I can say that I would love to use this to get to work everyday (the fact that the company apparently “requests” that owners only unfurl the wings at an airport will, of course, be treated as such a request should be. With disdain. Uxbridge Road will make a perfect landing / take off strip.
And parking isn’t a problem either, all you need is either a really cheesy American house, or a garage.
