What happens when you take a photo of the same thing every day for three years?
You could turn yourself into an internet sensation with over 7 million hits by taking a photo of yourself in exactly (scarily actually) the same position every day for three years. The result is pretty cool.
Actually reminds me of the HSBC Advance TV ads, which used a similar theme, also with pretty cool results. Always did wonder why these did not air more.
The actors in these videos actually were clamped into place for 10 hours of shooting, the clothes they were wearing were open at the back and put on the models from the front so that they did not have to get up for wardrobe changes… the end result is pretty nifty.
This technique is called stop motion and been used a lot – lately – in advertising and on youtube but still very cool. And by the way i know why these HSBC ads didn’t air more, yes i do…
Good to see you are still blogging man. How are the stats? 🙂
