Turning Dan Brown into Art

Oxfam recently released an interesting statistic. Dan Brown is the first author ever to be in both their bestseller list and their most donated list at the same time.

Go figure.

It does beg the question of what to do with all those unwanted Dan Brown books. I mean its not a book you really want to keep is it (or is that just me?). I think we should all do this:

The last of these includes a handy instructional video so that you can make your own.

And these are not just useful / frivolous bits of random art. No. We can all turn our Dan Brown’s into useful wall installations.

Business card holders?

Book Lampshades?

Or you could actually go for it and make something really, properly arty:

Or just take them to Oxfam I guess.

Finally! A way to transform a Dan Brown book into art, cos it sure as heck didn’t manage it the first time around. Winter fuel and door stops had been my previous uses, but I’m going to go all origami any time soon.
