Come on, I mean are they really that bad? Ok, they are.
But that does not mean we can’t grow to like them, maybe even love them. The Vuvuzela has inspired so much internet awesomeness, I can’t help but think its actually done some good. Here are some of my personal favourites.
Reason 1. Learning to play the Vuvuzela has never been easier, now that we have finally seen the original musical score with thanks to the hilarious people at 9GAG. Thankfully, it doesn’t look too hard.
Reason 2. Twitter is a big deal these days of course. Everyone is doing it. The Vuvuzela has stuff to say, and twitter is providing it with a voice! Follow whoever is blowing this particular trumpet at @the_vuvuzela
Reason 3. But its not just about music. Diego Maradona has discovered that it can be used for more dubious purposes too…
Reason 4. Back to music. Well, sort of. We already have Guitar Hero and DJ hero, well now thanks to the Gizmodo crew, we have Vuvuzela Hero – Legend of Africa.
Reason 5. And finally a shout out to Poppy Dinsey for one of my favourite all time facebook updates.
Bonus reason. Vuvuzela FM radio! With thanks to Shirell James for the heads up on this brilliant innovation.
Reason 1 is wrong – the Vuvuzela is a B flat instrument 🙂
You are such a musical genius Mike. Thanks for clarifying. Are they all in B flat?
